The integral reform of a bathroom just in dimensions, 3,50 m², without natural lighting, with elongated format and in the middle of a corridor, becomes a reflection on what are the essential elements for personal hygiene and what is the sequence of its use: (1)Wc – (2)Washbasin – (3)Shower, morning function, or (3)Shower – (2)Washbasin – (1)Wc , night function, or (1)WC – (2)Washbasin, sporadic function, linearly generating an operative and successive orderly sphere.
The use of these actions in the most efficient way, without wasting space, leads to the conception of an element that encompasses them. The idea of a container cabinet, storage, washbasin, and at the ends the sanitary devices of shower and W.C. was born.
As a theoretical exercise, it is put into practice using a cherry board, without any waste, taking into account the grain of the wood for the arrangement of the cuts.
