Public competition for the creation of a comprehensive care centre: the recovery of the Can Ferrero Gardens through the construction of a new public facility, of great need for the La Marina del Port neighborhood.
A permeable building, an easily recognizable meeting point, a volume of air and fragmented light materially linked to the habitat of the park. An architecture that functions as a climatic atrium with triple-height access where zenithal light shades and natural ventilation circulates.
The envelope forms a double skin that is intended to be a transition zone for landscaping, thermal and acoustic insulation. Plants, pots and climbing vegetation are placed here with the aim of one day turning the building into another living animal in the park.
